Maintenance 6: Rear Differential Fluid Change

The rear differential transfers and controls power to the rear wheels. Its fluid degrades over time and must be replaced when indicated to prevent wear and damage to internal components.

If you avoid getting a Rear Differential Fluid Change, your gears will wear out quickly. Also, your vehicle may vibrate when making sharp turns. Another consequence of not getting a Rear Differential Fluid Change is that problems can occur with the All-Wheel Drive System.
